Our most valuable assets by far are our volunteers.
The Arctic Playhouse (TAP) successfully meets its mission because of the generous contributions of time and effort from community volunteers. Volunteers provide excellent service along with caring and capable attention during special events and helping hands during large projects. Production roles could include stage crew, costume assistance, or technical support. In exchange, TAP provides training, ticket vouchers and a volunteer appreciation event at the end of our season.
If you are interested in volunteering during our live mainstage productions, please review the following.
*With 8 mainstage productions yearly, the expectation is that you sign up for minimally one performance per production.
*We require 10-12 volunteers for every mainstage performances. They include bartenders, box office, food concessions, ushers, and door security.
*Volunteering during our live performances is fast paced and requires the mobility and ability to quickly manage stairs (ushering), use computer technology, light lifting and work collaboratively with others. This is a team focused environment.
*All volunteers must be able to work independently (due to the fast-paced environment) and be at least 14 years of age or older.
