Enjoy an “arresting” evening of sweet and salty songs with Michael Hammond! Ida Senerchia-Zecco directed this show, with music direction and arranging by Jim Rice. Inspired by singers including Bea Arthur, Jonathan Groff, and Liz Callaway, Michael warms your heart with his special selection of songs about love, longing, and loss — mixed with laughter, which is always the best medicine! This evening’s performance is recommended for a mature, discerning audience.
Michael Hammond is a new face on the cabaret scene, but he’s no stranger to the stage. A graduate of Rhode Island College (who double majored in music/voice and theater), Michael has performed in several musicals including Mame, Damn Yankees, La Cage Aux Folles, Kiss Me Kate, and Merrily We Roll Along. A regular presence at the Napoleon Room at Club Cafe in Boston, Michael was a headliner for the Three’s Company benefit cabaret in 2017 at Pump House Music Works in Peacedale. When he’s not performing his favorite tunes, you may well find Michael on the rails — he works for Amtrak!
